After the success of the LP "Only sky" (https://youtu.be/TiYKiCtRP50), The Beatles continued together as a band, forgot their personal and musical differences and published a new and great album in November 1973, "Get songs", as a reminder of "Let it be", which was going to be called "Get back", meaning to their fans that they only want to dedicate themselves to writing songs. The album was several weeks as the best-selling album in the UK and USA, obtaining triple platinum. Their single "Band on the run/Mind games" reached number 1 on the US Billboard. Their second single "Happy Xmas (War is over)/Photograph" did not reach the top of the charts but it went down in musical history as a great Christmas song, and it marks the entry of Yoko Ono as a vocalist with The Beatles (Linda McCartney already did it in "Reborn" (https://youtu.be/_uAn4iw_Tu8) and "Only sky"). The singles "Live and let die/Woman is the nigger of the world" and "Give me love/Cold Turkey" also positioned themselves as number 1 on the charts. "Get songs" musically follows "Only sky", and is also one of the best albums by The Beatles. Lennon and McCartney offer great musical compositions, with a very elaborate style and very similar orchestral arrangements. Harrison's three songs are of a high musical quality, offering his already known spiritual aspect of his music. Ringo's song is one of the best of his career. "Get songs" represents a great LP by The Beatles before entering a small and transitory musical decline..........
