SUS DIFERENCIAS 10 octubre, 2016 | Hoy describiremos ambas acciones y resolveremos qué es Relajación y que es Meditación, aunque ambas, puede que pensemos que son iguales, pero quizás no sean lo que al principio creímos. ¿QUÉ ES RELAJACIÓN? Es obvio que esta definición ya la sabemos, se trata de relajar cuerpo y mente con el fin de darle un descanso a ambas y sentirnos mejor (aunque a veces se entienda solo como relajación corporal nada más). El fin de la relajación es obvio, relajarse. Ya sea con ejercicios físicos o mentales con los que la mente puede incluso imaginar lugares donde sentirse relajado. Hasta aquí lo tenemos claro, entonces… ¿QUE ES LA MEDITACIÓN? Aunque existen muchos tipos de meditación y uno de ellos es de relajación. Las meditaciones más extendidas como “la atención consciente en la respiración” o las técnicas de mindfulness, ambas de la que solemos hablar aquí; ninguna de estas tiene la finalidad de relajarnos, en el sentido que entendemos la relajación, como hemos definido antes. La meditación en sí es un ejercicio de atención consciente, “gimnasia para la mente”. Aunque la relajación corporal ocurra como efecto de la meditación, pero no como su fin. Actualizado
