In this episode I share thoughts on Self-Love. Having recently read "Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It" by Kamal Ravikant, I've been hit over the head (in a good way) with the importance of self-love. Throwing off the chains of labels like selfishness, I am embracing self-love as an act of healing for myself AND others at the same time. The transition in my life has already been profound. In this episode, I close out the year 2020 by talking about the energy of time, and how, even as I just did by referring to the year, we can limit the energy of time in our lives. When we cut and dice into days, weeks, months, and years, we miss opportunities. We can fail to see other larger and smaller cycles at work. I talk about how my year went, speaking in this annual container of time, but I also talk about Expanded Time or the Expanded Now, which is a period of time since a particular past event until the present that is defining your life in some way. In this episode we meander into the darkness. I talk about how we are taught to perceive darkness and what that does to our psyche, which resides in darkness. Feminine power (yin) is associated with darkness and it's time we embraced it for all that it brings to us. Instead of fearing the dark, and women, and witches, and our own inner wisdom, it is time to re-enter it. The darkness is powerful, and so is this episode!
