Ever since I heard the first singles of “The Mauskovic Dance Band” I was totally hooked to their sound. A perfect blend of tropical sounds with a funky groove and a touch of cosmic psychedelia.. What else can you ask for? In just a couple of years the band has released singles, Eps and their first LP this year on Soundway Records. In the middle of their extensive tour they came to Barcelona to play at BAM festival and I got the chance to interview their brainchild: Nicola Mauskovic, an Amsterdam based producer and multi-instrumentalist.
